Unfortunately, I am still waiting for the frameset, but it's being set up for street use with a front brake and drop bar hooded levers, so it would be illegal on the track anyway.

Thanks. Tried multiple handlebar adjustments as someone mentioned, but this suits my riding position and forward pressure best. Black tires would be FAR easier to keep clean for sure.

the De Rosa is hot, but that sheriff star on the front still looks radial to me. Not gonna lie, I'd be too scared to ride that hub like that on the street.

Did you get a chance to weigh them before throwing rubber around them?

Nope. Mine is a genuine Tioga Spyder Twin Tail.

I had a chance but decided against it. I knew they'd weigh more. Surprisingly, the hubs aren't very light, but the hoops and spokes off the sub15s weigh nothing.

Conjures up thoughts of sitting on wicker patio furniture. How comfy is it on longer rides?

The latter. I wanted to experience wider rims. Also, vanity. Always wanted black wheels with gummies.

Oh, it's totally miserable for longer rides, which is why I removed it from my road bike. For the track where I'm never riding for more than twenty minutes at a time it's fine.
