Just haven't gotten around to it. It should be at the top of my queue - I'll have to check if Netflix even has it on disc. Every time I hear the famous movie quotes, I feel like I'm culturally illiterate.

"Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine "

Just one among, many from that film. I think I read the script? Now that you brought it up, I might revisit it, since its been a while.

Go to your library. If it has any DVDs, it should have Casablanca. If not ask them to get it. The DVD will probably have extra including commentaries and The making of" featurettes. While you are at it, look for several other Bogart classics, like Maltese Falcon, To Have and Have Not, Treasure of the Sierra Madre, and African Queen.

I guess critics really like Dances with Wolves + blue aliens. Visually stunning, but a story that doesn't hold up through more than one viewing.

I was totally riveted by Dances With Wolves the first time I saw it. (The full 4 hour version,) Next time it was the shortened version. That one did nothing for me. Last year I read the book. Wow! And saw that the author penned a perfect character for Kevin Costner to play; to the "T". Amazing that he didn't even know who Costner was when he wrote it. I loved that Native Americans were cast as real people, not caricatures. Though, I understand that they were Apache or Sioux, nor Comanche as so few Comanche survived.

Die Hard. I fessed up to that this past weekend when it was playing at a local arthouse, and my wife almost dragged me out to see it but we, well, didn't.

I had no idea. I knew 1, 4, and 39. I'm sure the screenwriter was proud. But they cheated, #1 is listed twice.

The conversation started with her 'admitting' she hadn't seen it since in the theater when it came out, so I have only barely seen it less than her...

That's OK, Rick (Bogie) said it at least twice to Ilsa (Bergman) in the movie.
