Notices
Road Cycling ďIt is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.Ē -- Ernest Hemingway

OMG. This thread is just a shadow of its former self. Five hours between posts would be just unheard of.

As Dandy Don used to sing:

Turnout the lights
the party’s over
they say that all
good things must end
call it the night
the party’s over
and tomorrow starts the same old thing again.

I hate fresh chipseal. Especially around here because they usually donít sweep the loose gravel off. Itís really hazardous for awhile until the loose pebbles are gone.

We got a lot of that too, in the couple years.
But chip seal is the devil at least until they sweep it.

It's still the debbile. until it has worn smooth then it's ok. of course then they need to relay the chip and it's back to being the debbil.
