Since I’m retired, every day is the same for me. Then the weekend comes around and younger people lay in the big miles and bury me.

I was climbing the closed road today when 3 e-bikes flew past me, just as some hikers were walking the other direction. One of the girls hiking asked me if she should give me a push. I guess she felt sorry for me not keeping up with the other bikes. I told her they were e-bikes and I was going to get one when I turn 70.

Interstates had dual signage for awhile for distance and speed limits but it was short lived.
Also, I was assigned a couple construction jobs in the 70s that were 100% metric with metric plans and all metric measuring devices. It was a total disaster trying to get grizzled old bridge carpenters to use metric tapes and rulers.

That’s what I tell friends who buy Corvettes. I tell them I’ll buy my first Corvette when I turn 70.

I never drove a C8, retired before they came out. I've driven about all the other ones except 55-62, (my boss had a 54). I drove the supercharged C7 and it's too much. 650 horsepower is asking for trouble. The supercharged C8 is supposed to have more.

I don't want the supercharger; just the hi-po all-natural. With three pedals.
