Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I don't disagree with your contention about the most important part, but at these price points even the lowest priced bibs/shorts are very high end. These aren't $30 bibs after all. We can't be screwing around here any more or it isn't going to happen. We have sufficient commitments to make this go based on the selected pricing/quality levels. Lets just do it as described.

Nothing is finalized yet, but here are the initial results. Verifying that HTFU will not appear on the outside of the pocket, but on the inside. enjoi is going over the results with Primal now to be sure his design maintains the features he wants.

I for one am very pleased so far.

Today's lunch ride featured the death of the bibs I was wearing. They are old DeMarchi's that were about to be sent to pasture anyway, but they absolutely had to go as soon as I took them off. The chamois was flat and lifeless, and my arse was witnessing the beginning of what would be my very first saddle sore.

This is a great opportunity to legitimately purchase cycling goods that I need, not that I want.

Jersey looks pretty good. Might have to rethink pulling out but it's coming in about $30 more than I've ever spent on a jersey. I buy decent stuff but always on clearance.

That is fine, no hard feelings if you do. We have enough to cover the minimum, but please do update the sheet so we have a good indication of what to expect.

Bump to get some more exposure. If we get to 25, these get cheaper. That's only eight more jerseys my friends.

I had to go back several pages to find this link

Need to keep it handy so folks can update if they are interested.

I think once we get the FINAL mock-up from primal we need to:

1) Get David Broon to update this thread showing only the kit and a link to the spreadsheet with a one sentence explanation along the lines of "This is your final chance to get in on this kit, we only need 00 more people to bring the total cost of the kit down to $00.00

2) If that can not happen we can start one last thread on it. I think this could be even more successful since the title could now read "BF "41" KIT IS HERE!". There were a lot of people doubting this could happen and I think seeing that it finally has will sway some people. Once everyone sees that this is for sure the final design and this is where to go for the spreadsheet (or better yet the actual order form). So yea, maybe we make the final push when we have the actual order form up if possible?

I think the easier we make it for people, the better chances of us moving units.

Right now this thread is confusing as **** for anyone not following closely.

Sorry I was only able to get at this right now. I might even suggest starting another topic to get any new people to look in, as most people will lost interest in a thread in the first page or so, and have no clue whatsoever is happening right now.

One more thread with pics and a link to the Primal store would be great. We've got the minimum commitments from folks here and a new thread will possibly pull in more folks.

My plan was to, once we get the final version, start a new thread called 'Group Buy - 41 Kit' and open the store at that time. I can't open before then it because it is only able to be open for two weeks max.

As soon as we hear from Primal, I will start the new thread and a reference to this thread will be among the bullet points in the new thread.
