Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I have a question. I don't own any primal jerseys, so are they sized like Castelli or Capo? in other words, I'm 44 inches in the chest. In Castelli and Capo I wear XXL. According to their size chart, in Primal Wear I would wear a XL.

Question is, are they true to size?? in other words, not race cut or european sizing? is it an American size XL??

my fat ass thanks you.

Ranger, I answered in another thread that I think XL would be best for you. I am 45" in the chest and I wear an XL in Primal. The XL is not Race cut tight but it's not baggy at all.

That is where I am at. 45" chest and I ordered an XL nervously. The XXL was too long which is why I went with the XL. Motivation maybe?

If you want 3/4 zip, zip it down 75%. If you want full, go 100%.
The best of both worlds!

You'll be fine with the XL Jeep. Don't lose to much weight though unless you like a lose jersey.

Is the Primal site malfunctioning? I have been trying for a while to register my email and password, but it isn't taking. Thanks.

You will be fine. It might be a little tight, but not in an 'it doesn't fit' kind of way. I have a Billy's Chiles Primal jersey that is my tightest L, and at 200 I won't wear it. At 195 it is ok and 190 it is perfect.

Thank you for helping us meet the minimum, blacksquid.
@rpenmanparker, what kind of error are you getting? Which browser and version? I'll see what I can do.

Same question - the site indicates that:

"All orders for this team store will be shipped to your Team Manager for distribution..."

I am clarifying this. Frankly, I am fine with it either way. I am no slouch when it comes to shipping and it would make it easier to take care of enjoi's kit. Only thing that is different is that I would have all of your addresses (for shipping).

I'll post what I find out.

Thanks, RT.

The problem with you having to ship them out to us is that you'll be hit with mailing expenses. So if you end up having to mail them, let us know what it costs - I'm sure we'll all be happy to reimburse you.

(PS - if you don't have a Paypal account, I'd suggest setting one up as a very easy way to receive payments.)

Thanks again for your efforts.

I am confident that Danielle will work it out. She was equally as perplexed. Drop-ship is a great option as it is really only about $3.50 more than USPS Priority.

I do have a PayPal account, probably going top use it for enjoi's kit. He ain't payin' for nuttin'. >:-)

Do you know the headcount of actual purchases right now? I have been meaning to go through the other threads and quote those who said they are in (as I already did with a few ppl) and attach the link for purchase and for this thread...just as a reminder. I want to make sure we hit this minimum for sure!

This morning we were at 6 each, jersey and bib. One other will be ordering as soon as they mock up the shorts. It seems like we have a good start with 9 1/2 days to go.

Ok, so this is the email I got from Primal in response to my question, and thanks to everyone who responded on here too, you were right, the XL is the size to buy.

"Hi David,

Thank you for your email. I have looked up your Team Store and it looks like you will be ordering Sport Cut Jerseys. Based on your measurements you are an XL in both the Jersey and Bib Short. We are American Sizing and our guide is pretty true to size. Everybody is different but I would definitely go with an XL in both if I were you. Please let me know if you have any further questions, I am happy to help!

Thank you"

I have added a spot on the main page of the tally sheet to update daily what level we are at with meeting minimums. Will update each morning until the store closes.

Tell your friends!

To those who have ordered - you were asked to supply your shipping address, no? Trying to figure out why we are labeled as Bulk Delivery.

I am calling Primal this morning to sort it out. You will likely be asked for shipping address and asked to provide CC info for the $10.00 fulfillment. It appears their site was not set up based on our request for fulfillment.

Same here - no shipping address requested.

Once it's sorted out, you'll probably need to let us know how we go back into the system to enter just the shipping address and payment - I'm guessing their system won't accommodate those changes.

Just got off the phone with Primal. After the store closes on July 19th @ midnight, those who need to provide shipping will be contacted directly. Looks to me like someone at Primal just forgot to flip a switch on the Team Site for Drop-ship. It is fixed for all future orders.

Thanks again to all for your participation. It will be difficult waiting for the production, but since they are promised by Sept. 20, we'll get some good rides in before winter hits.
