A trip to vintage-trek will decide your serial number and provide the model year and their listed size. Looks like it’s ‘82/‘83-ish.

I have one of these full 531C bikes. I think they were only offered in 1983. Very nice riding frame. Takes 32s easily. GLWS.

The catalog page for those interested. If it was 22.5 I'd have bought it. These early 80's sport-touring treks really do both well, with the rack braze-ons and ability to take 32's with ease, it's an excellent bike, especially with 531c (the "c" here being "competition", a lighter variant of the standard 531).

Benotto, I've searched for a geometry sheet online but can't find one. Would you mind measuring the chainstay length, and then the width between the fork legs at the crown? And maybe double-checking the top tube length (I think these were 58cm in metric; 23" is just a bit longer than that)? Thanks!
