Coral is NOT a shade of pink.

But it is very nice to have hoods that fit.

I've never had a frame powder coated. Maybe this will be the one?

At least the hoods are intact. I just put white AGC levers on one of my bikes. One of the hoods is dissolving into a grease-like goo that gets stuck on my fingers. I hope to replace them but perhaps with a different color.

I want one of these coral frames just so I can have custom "Salmondale" decals made.

CT,
For what it's w, I never worry about the color......It looks great to me and it will stand out in a crowd of the "sameo, sameo" frame colors!
It's nice to be different...........
Best, Ben

I like the coral color. Super cool. I also like hot pink in that late-80s/earl-90s crazy color scheme way. Like you said, the hoods fit the levers, but they weren't told to get along with the paint color.

People laugh at the bike's color and then double take when they see it's rocking Superbe Pro. Even the headset.

Ignoring the hoods, that coral color on the frame is lovely.

It's not the color of the frame that's hideous. With the right bar tape and other accents it would be a nice looking bike. The problem is the pink hoods don't go with that color AT ALL and ruin the entire look of the bike. Also those white brake levers have got to go.

Put black bar tape and hoods on it along with some nice brake levers, and it would look sharp.

The frame color is unique and IMO not the problem. Surely there is a way to dye or paint the hoods. I'd experiment, no harm could be done.

I like the frame color, a lot. I think white hoods would go better with the levers, calipers and the frame color.

The bike’s color is pretty cool. I was joking about painting it to match the hoods. AGC250 hoods in white are too rare.

GP4 rims are planned.

I had a bike that needed those aero hoods, I found a pair in yellow, before eBay. Much more recently bought a pair of red, goes with the red bike.
Amé is still in business today but focuses on the BMX market. If they have the tooling still…. They made Campagnolo form factor ergo hoods too.
