76 miles to go Katy Trail

Lost all my money in Booneville made it to Portland Mo today. The Missouri River is massive and the hot humid weather followed me up here. Overall it has been great so far and good thing I知 acclimated to the hot weather by default I知 tired sore and soaking up the AC and having a very cold Bud Light. Life is good

Boonville is a good place to start. Most of the scenery is east of Boonville. Plenty of beer stops on the way tomorrow in Herman, Augusta, etc...

Yes east of a Booneville the scenery is nice with the cliffs along the Missouri River and I kept a backup 20 in my wallet in case the slots took all my money which they did

Oh so you didn't lose it. You handed it over willingly to the casino operators?

yes they twisted my arm aka wallet. Finished the Katy on Saturday and the South Texas Heat was here in Missouri. Hot ride but very fun and the Missouri people were friendly. 276 miles all together including the Rock Island Spur and this semi old man (50 1/2 ) feels its. Seeing some of the local sights and having a great time.

If you come to Pittsburgh to ride the GAP and I give you the grand tour of Pittsburgh. I will be certain to affix blinders to you when we pass by the casino. The bike trail goes right past it.

Greetings from Salida, Colorado. In the heart of the Rockies, according to them. 😁 So I concur, on the tired & sore thing, resting in a McDonald's now. 😎
I don't feel so bad now, about doing scratchers, lol. 😋

I meant to say though, it's 60* F here right now, and rainy, and it feels like about 30, lol, after being in Pueblo, and hitting 90 & 100 pretty steady. 🙄😉
