Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". Rival 1 RD and 11-46 support

I am doing an XC endurance ride this weekend on my gravel bike for BWR training and I'm going to need bigger gearing. Anyone know if the Rival 1 long cage can fit an 11-46 without a roadlink/goatlink?

Not sure, but if you need a bit more range on the B-screw for extra adjustment to clear the 46 try flipping it around so the head in on the inside or going to HD and getting a longer screw

I run a 10-42 Sram on a couple of bikes and if I recall correctly the B screw was pretty close to all the way in.

Decided to just go down on chainring to a 32t. If I can't make it work with a 32t 11-42 then I got issues.

Not sure if you can get a 32T unless your crank can handle it. Most cranks max out at 34T for 110BDC.IIRC

Edit: Opps just read you have a 1X. My bad...
