I think "real" road bikers (elitists) would never speak flat bar and road bike in the same sentence. Maybe that's why it's not popular to call them fbr (flat bar road)

2014 Spesh Sirrus Pro Carbon
Back in Aug 2014 I shared a pic of my Sirrus pro frame and shortly after life veered me off course... I have had it finished somewhat recently and here's the result:

There called Velo Mini's they seem popular as city bikes in Europe and Japan, easy to carry on buses and trains carry into buildings.
I should point out there are two Gios companys one in Taiwan the other is the famous Gios from Italy, they have no connection the bikes I posted are from Italy.

And there are non-folding ones like my Bannard Tension R and the mixte Sunny. Mini velos are nimble and agile. Best kept secret in cycling, imo...

I've just bought one of these for cheap, to ride for a few weeks then sell on for a profit .... I collect it tommorow. I like the look of this one.

Personally, one of my favourites is Avanti Inc 3. It's more of an urban bike rather than a hybrid but it's frame, specs and look in general is just so smooth and nice.

It is the same bike. I spent hours creating templates for the bike frame, cut out bike tape and spent more hours applying it as meticulously as I could, hence the matt areas having a sheen compared to the original image of the frame.

Cannondale indeed. They call it a "Bad Boy 1". I'm definitely glad for my lights. I'm still getting used to the "murdered out" look of it. It is slick though. And more unassuming as I would have thought. That's a good thing.

If I was in the market for a new hybrid I'd be looking at this...

Can't stand the look of any bicycle with the top tube so low it aligns with the seatstays.

I'm impressed with the Jamis that the Colonel had posted on another thread. To me it's a really good looking bike:

The Jamis looks pretty good, although they could have done some things better like internal routing of the cables...although I do love the colour scheme on that bike! Notices many companies are going with the matte or blacked-out themes like the Trek FXX

External cables are easier to work on and internal is difficult to route on steel frames with threaded BBs
I'll take external cables any day over internal.

Resurrecting this thread because in my latest bike hunt I've come across some nice looking ones. I am in the market for the more upright comfort style hybrids and come across the lovely Bianchi Torino.

This is mine. 2011 jamis commuter 1.
Bit of a frankenbike
8spd deore xt rear w alivio trigger shifter
Wtb dx23 rear on a shimano 8s hub
Alex dm18 from
Single digit 7 v brakes
Fork, crank and frame are all stock.
Shes taken a beating but shes pretty trusty thru everything ive put her thru. Would love to upgrade to an actual threadless fork but the cost would probably out weight the entire bike (sentimental value aside)
Has a threadless adapter now to use a threadless stem.
