Disclaimer: I reside in socal and have no need for a fat bike unless "styling". This is a good value as with most BD bikes especially with Shimano hydraulic brakes. Probably good, but not great on sand and snow since many run five inch tires on these surfaces. The heavy rear suggests this won't be anything more than a very good commuter/street bike and OK for moderate trails, but don't let the video fool you, harsh on technical off road routes.

Nice test of an electric fatbike on the beach. He says the big problem was the ordeal of riding thru soft sand to get to the hard wet sand where it looks like great fun.
