Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Need info on Orbita

I need info on the Portuguese brand Orbita.

How old is the manufacturer/brand? Can I find a vintage Orbita?
Do they buy their frames from Asia or do they make them in Portugal?
Have they made any classic steel frames?
Do they have a good reputation?

Thanks
/Anders

yes they are made in portugal
in our country they have a good reliability record and it has a 30 year tradition without any mishaps
i have 3 orbita bikes which recently have sustained worthy hardships without any shortcommings

Thanks for a kind of late reply, I posted my question 2,5 years back and it is no longer of current interest, but thanks anyway
