So nice...
Can you tell me frame size and wheel size?
Can you tell me frame size and wheel size?
My 2008 LHT. I bought it as a complete, but only the crank and rear wheel are still original. It's gone through several iterations of fenders/racks, etc. But here it is ready for a 2 month tour I'll be starting in May.
My road bikes are 56cm although I prefer a bit shorter top tube than typical 56cm bikes, so I got the 54cm LHT as the top tubes do run a little long, and I'm real happy with the fit. It's the most comfortable bike I have.
Now, I need to trim some weight before I start this tour!

On mine at least, the tended to go clip-side up just due the wight factor. The platforms are heavier and tend to go down, although it varies a lot. I used these for a while but about two months ago I bought a set of Shimano PD-T700. These have clips and platforms on both sides, much easier to use and include reflectors (every bit helps when on the road). I know they weigh a few ounces more but at some point on touring bike setups it just won't matter as long as it is practical.

If you want to replace the damaged decals, Surly sells the entire model decal sheet for 15 bucks.
