Lynskey R340 Recommended?
Has anyone here ridden or do you own a Lynskey R340? I'm considering buying one with S&S couplers. I'd appreciate any comments on this bike or others in the Lynskey lineup.

After reading reviews and watching videos of them in action i've really gained an appreciation for their product. Maybe being a welder helps see the beauty too. I haven't ridden any of their bikes but i'm buying the Helix OS beginning of october. I've heard nothing but great things. I dont think you can go wrong. Then again it depends what you're using it for.

Actually the R340 has helix tubes in the rear triangle.
I love mine, a joy to ride, just the perfect blend of soft buttery feel, and firm tension. Plus it looks sweet too.

R230. Love everything about it except the toe overlap. That is manageable though. This is the only bike I will not part with and is my preferred daily ride. I can't speak for the R340 but the Lynskeys know what they are doing.

I have an R330 and love it. I've only ridden a 10-year-old Dean El Vado Ti, so that's my only comparison as far as road bikes go.
The Dean is a softer, less responsive ride. The R330 is not harsh at all, but I can tell that it is stiffer and more responsive. When I was researching frames last year, my bike mechanic recommended I get a carbon frame. But I went the Lynskey route. (I wanted a "lifetime" bike.) He rode it around the streets of his shop, and said it seemed like a really good bike. (That was his first experience with a Lynskey--he's a Trek dealer.)
For whatever this is worth. I'm happy with my decision.

By the way, I ride a Lynskey built Ti frame and have nothing but great things to say about it. I am sure you will be very satisfied with a R340 as long as it fits you well.
