Wrong Times from Garmin
Hello all. Seems every time I upload my activity from my Garmin Vivosmart HR+ to strava and Garmin Connect. The time is always wrong. Out by a few hours. I have both strava and the device on my own time zone and direct time is correct. Yet I will get the wrong times.
Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong? thanks

Time as in the amount of time you rode? Or time as in the time of day? Don't know whether it still affects anything, but on Garmin Connect you used to have to select your timezone in your profie settings on Garmin Connect. Probably Strava too.
If the time you are talking about is time of day and it is off by exactly 1, 2, 3 or etc hours, then likely a time zone is wrong on something of yours.
There are instances where Garmin has screwed up some data in the time zone file that gets updated on your Garmin device, but that usually gets corrected quickly with an update. But that doesn't seem to be what you are having issue with.

Some devices seem to need to be plugged into a computer to reset to the correct time. That's how my video cameras work to maintain correct time/date stamp.
