How much is this vintage Capino bike worth?

I want to buy this bike. I want to know if the price of 270$ is a good price or worth buying. I appreciate your involvement,

Thanks,

It's a great lightweight Vitus frame. Based on the Campy equipment I'm seeing, the price is pretty solid, assuming there's no dents/dings/joint separation. You could get your money back out of the wheelset and group pretty darn easily. Complete frameset would go in the $175-300 depending on whether it was good-mint shape.

EDIT: One like it on on eBay right now if you wanted to watch the closeout price @ https://www.ebay.com/itm/262978636043

Love that combo of brifters and campy SR rear derailleur. I'll bet that bike shifts like a dream . . .

If I were to purchase the bike at the OP's price, I would already own it. Were I to offer the bike for sale,$700.00 would be my target and I would most likely get that amount. I did for this one...

I'd buy this bike at your price before I'd buy that bike on eBay that is being offered for a little more. It's one thing to pay top dollar when you know the quality of the workmanship that went into rehabbing the bike. When you buy from eBay you have to price in the unknown problems you are very likely to encounter particularly with an aluminum frame like this.

Yeah, that brifter/mech combo is a classic example of how you can get into trouble. It's a red flag of other stuff you'll deal with. Nothing beats being able to check things out in person either, especially on a bonded frame like this.

Generally speaking though, the price is good on OP's bike. I typically see these framesets go in the $150-250 range. Can't tell if OP's offering's group is contiguous (doesn't look it) but ... I think you could easily make this a worthwhile flip or a great investment if you're hunting a Vitus frameset.

I suspect the name is just something someone slapped on it. I can't seem to find info on the brand anywhere, but you never know.

i'ld say its a fair price. You can look on ebay to see what similar bikes go for. Just look under completed sales and not asking price

That's a Xenon rear derailleur, likely the right Ergopower is too.

Or as one lbs once called it, Nonex.

You're talking about the bike the OP listed. My post was referring to the eBay bike that was listed. Take a look at the posts . . .
