Maybe some day I'll finish watching the series (one should hope I'll at least finish reading the books), and I'm almost certain I'll enjoy it...I loved the political/personal intrigue of it all, wound around a fantasy kingdoms setting, but the animal killings really get to me. Dothraki's get disemboweled as festivities at Drogo's wedding? No problem. The Mountain beheads his horse after losing the joust? Could've done without seeing that. I know it's merely a personal quibble. I did finish out the entire first season on Amazon, so that's progress...really loved seeing Daenerys' story arc.

i was talking about Hannibal :-)

Welp, it's official: I'm an idiot before coffee. READING COMPREHENSION FAIL!
So sorry, hahaha...I did catch the season two opener of Hannibal...and that's the last I've seen of it. That opening fight blew my mind! I'm wondering how it retcons later in the season, but I'll just have to wait until season two goes Prime-eligible.
Also, nice motto!
It can't rain all the time ~*skip*~can't rain all the time~*skip*~can't rain all the time...

I liked the GoT season finale. I read the books but didn't have any issues with their deviations. It will be interesting to see what they do next year as some of the story lines have caught up to the books.

Another good new show is halt and catch fire.
It's about reverse engineering an IBM computer in the 80s.
I know, does not sounds that exciting but trust me it is.
It's an AMC show.
8/10

Orange is the New Black 10/10 Cannot wait for Season 3.
Dexter Season 6 on NF, which I'd forgotten that I'd already watched. But that was three years ago. So it's a good refresher before enjoying 7 & 8. I'm surprised it went on this long. But I'm glad it did. 8/10

Been Around Awhile
Boardwalk Empire, Season 4, Episodes 1-6: Netflix DVDs. 8/10.
Aside: Always liked the funny looking guy, the fellow playing Arnold Rothstein is giving him a run for the money though. He looks like The Count from Sesame Place.

Hard Knocks. I'd never seen it before (just got HBO last year). As an NFL fan it's interesting to see behind the scenes of training camp.

We've been keeping up with The Strain on FX. The show has been mostly OK, but it has potential to get really good. 6.5/10
Just finished binge-watching season 1 of The Leftovers on demand. It's definitely not a show for everybody, but we really enjoyed it. 8/10
Currently, having just watched the first episode of True Detective, we're planning to marathon our way through the remaining 7 episodes. Based on episode one only, I'd rate it 8.5/10.
