How can I make my hub louder?
I've seen a few YT videos about how to do it, but I seen some comments saying it may wear it out pretty bad. Is there any way to do it without harming the lifespan?

I want a loud hub just because of the sound. I like the clicking sound my bike has and because it doesn't cost anything I wanted to make it louder.

if you ever ride mups or ped-friendly areas...you'll quickly know the answer as to "so why have a noisy hub?"
personally, i prefer mine silent but it does raise issues in the previously mentioned situations at the onset of my post.

how is your vocal timbre?
side note : there is a whistle you can add to the spokes that make a loud noise at high speeds. I found it interesting on first run... but then, i saw all my buddies avoiding me

Strap bells to your ankles and yell "ho ho ho".

That's what I do when there's a bunch of people clogging up the aisles at the grocery store.
On my bike, I finally had to get one of those kiddie bells. I felt a little silly the first few times I used it, but I've become convinced it cuts through the wind better and further than my voice does. People hear it.

However, those with earbuds or, worse, over-the-ear headphones are likely not to hear much of anything so I ring the bell and announce myself but pass cautiously, assuming they may not have heard it, unless I see an acknowledging gesture.
Also, progressive hearing loss especially in high frequencies is typically part of aging, so I will ring the bell and announce myself to more elderly pedestrians, because the bell may be hard for them to hear due to its pitch.

you didn't give us any clue what hub you have now. why bother asking if you're not going to share vital info?

Im just the opposite, however, the wheel set I bought last are loud. I wanted silent but couldn't determine that from the information that was listed. Try looking on the net for a spare set of wheels that describe the wheels to that extent.

Now I want one for my bike. Think it'd attach to the downtube to a bottle cage mount?

Have you tried a playing card and clothes pin? Substitute new card when old wears out...
Seriously though I have a set of Vuelta Corsa Lites and they are not quiet when coasting.
