Eyelet size for racks

What is the screw size for those eyelet holes for racks and fenders on drop outs and frame?I lost my screws acorn nuts.Thanks in advance.

Some racks as well as some frames have a 6mm hole/thread for the drop out mount. One measurement is worth a lot. If you have no measuring tools but have a mounted bottle cage it's bolts are nearly always a 5mm. Remove one bolt and test insert into the rack/eyelet and judge the fit. Andy

Most eyelets are 5mm x 0.8mm, as noted above. Some are 6mm x 1mm. Some are unthreaded. Some may even be British Whitworth thread. It depends on your bike, where it was made, and how old it is.
