Just back from a short for a in the mountains today. (Boulder CO area.) Man was it cool up in the hills. Anyone else starting to wear cool weather gear yet?

How much of a “Colorado” kid are you? If you’ve been here for more than a few years, you shouldn’t be fooled into thinking that it is winter yet. We probably have a few more 90° days between now and Thanksgiving. We probably have several 70° days between now and the first of January...including Christmas and New Year’s Day. We probably have several 60°+ above timberline.

A couple of days of cool weather isn’t an indicator that we should be breaking out the studded tires yet.

Not sure that you can read into all that from his post.

We are cooler here today, but only because the clouds and rain from a tropical storm in the Gulf of Mexico .

“That’s a joke, I say a joke, son!“

It was mostly a rib at my fellow Coloradans who are panicking into winter mode. We have a lot of summer left. This is actually some of the best time to be in Colorado. I’m going fishing next week...I’ve caught up to 60 fish in a day at this time of year...and I’m doing a short bikepacking trip the week after.

Yeah, had to wear my jacket to work a few days last week here in Green Bay. We'll probably have a couple of weeks of warm weather soon before fall/winter settles in.

Here in Pewtown I ride in with morning temps around 55-60F. Afternoon yesterday was about 90F. It will be warmer this week. My outdoor thermometer is showing 59F at 6:20 am.

Must be nice. The weather here seems to have started to cool down but we're not really going outside much.

Just a week ago San Diego was over 100, but the last couple days has been cool enough on the morning commute I almost wanted more than shorts/t-shirt

Morning commutes start out dark and low 50's here, so not me. I try to pretend it's summer until at least Thanksgiving.

It’s dipped into the 40s here in the NE corner. Super grateful I bought these PI AmFib pants last year.

I love cold weather. It feels so good to go inside to warm up. You can't do than during summer.

It has gotten a little chilly on my commute. 40s in the morning 70s in the afternoon. Gradually testing gear.

Starting to cool down this morning in the high 40's and 50's during the day. Going to dip down to the 30's tomorrow morning and it will stay around there all week. Brrrrrr
