Vol, what’s your job? I’ve always pictured you as some type of Univ Tennessee administrator. Do colleges still have deans?

It's just easier to leave the sweets alone. Like drinking, you start back up again, you're right back or worse than you were, within weeks.

You're supposed to start shoveling down the sweets at Halloween and not stop until January. Those are the rules. #America

I am looking at a possible hernia surgery in the near future. I saw the surgeon (again) yesterday, and while it's not big/serious, there's apparently no way to predict discomfort. And when it hurts, it feels like someone is squishing one of my testicles. Not great. #FamilyForum

Haven't left the house since mid February. Gone to doctor, drive thru pharmacy and mowed lawns. Covid is terrible in Merced, Ca. and now the smoke. Gained at least 10 pounds and lost all fitness. One good thing is that Halloween is cancelled. We always buy $300 worth of full size candy bars, and of course, have to sample them before. No candy this year.

Just knock it out, get it done. You will feel so much better once it's over. My early March surgery date was cancelled due to covid, forcing me to wait until July before I got it done. That was no picnic, it was getting progressively worse, but what a relief when it was done. Two weeks and you can play football if you want, climb mountains, whatever.

I'm retired but have been thinking of some sort of part time job I could do from home. Maybe become a crop circle designer and sell the plans of the web.

I have degree, but not practicing.
I'd like to at least wait until it was colder (less missed activities), but it may not be worth it.
It's not like I expected in that I see little to no correlation between physical activity and discomfort. I've had bad days where I was just sitting at the desk, then Sunday I rode 50 miles and it didn't bother me at all. Go figure.
