Anyone hear of "HighEndBikesDiscount.com?"

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

The name sounds scammy, and they sell fairly new bikes for a few hundred bucks cheaper than most sites. However, they seem to have good eBay ratings and a little bit of an online footprint, which would not be the norm for dedicated scam sites.

Anyone ever buy from them? Did they steal your money?

12, Impasse de la Ballade Orford, Quebec, Canada J1X 0B2

What kind of zip code is J1X 0B2? That alone makes it untrustworthy.

That's actually a legit Zip Code for Quebec, Canada. All you had to do was look it up to be sure.

Looks like a residential address.

Also if you order within 15 minutes you get another 10% off. Looks totally legit and I look forward to hearing about their excellent warranties and after sales service.

Check their Facebook page reviews, among others. Seems to be a mixed bag of satisfied and dissatisfied customers, or maybe dissatisfied non-customers -- hard to tell sometimes.

It doesn't look "scammy" to me. (Beyond the awful name.)

Keep in mind that there might be complications buying stuff from Canada from the US.

I don't see that but that would be odd.

Ahh, now I see it. Not "scammy" but kind of icky.

That address also seems to relate to flashlightworld. Perhaps legit but if you're going to make a major investment, is it really worth the risk to save a hundred or two?
