Oh, I know that hill! Right here: https://goo.gl/maps/aiAix

I heard it was a great ride this year. A little cold in the AM, but it warmed up nicely.

Sorry, no bridge theme here. This was taken in the Washoe valley looking up at the snowy Carson range about two weeks ago from the Franktown rd.

Just because we seem to let folks get away with bragging....

I took my sweet wife to the Crocker Museum in Sacramento. It was great.

Then out to dinner at a Tapas place. My first tapas!

Surprised her with a night at a nice B&B where we had coffee waiting outside the door when we woke.

Then we got up and rode 65 miles with 4500 feet of climbing, going past a weird safari themed sub division along the way.

Darn poachers stole the horn off the concrete rhinoceros, Curtis. Must be a rough neighborhood.

Nice pics, that should put you in the good column for a few weeks now.

A bargain at twice the price:

I'm looking at buying a pair of cycling sandals. I'll probably hold off buying new pedals at this price, though.

Those mountain locations are awesome to gaze at, but I'd think they'd be a total pain in the pedal to traverse... unless you started at the top, of course...

Naw, I love climbing in the mountains.

The lone climbs are a great time and place to chat, and then you've got the great view and the thrill of the downhill on the other side. That pix was taken on a XC bike tour I started years ago, and so far, I've only made it to Northfield, Minnesota. I much preferred those mountain climbs to the stark and utter flatness of South Dakota.

Riding a full sized steer inside a bar in Interior, SD was pretty trick, though.

Is the reverse lettering on the jersey so that drivers going the other way can read it in their rear view mirror?

Took the picture in my rear view mirror. lol

Actually, I reversed the photo for use as a FB cover photo and forgot to use the unreversed version. Oy.

Here we are climbing up to Dawson saddle two weekends ago. Linda Adams on the left, John Nguyen on the ride, not sure who farther up the road. The road was barricaded off but you could make it all the way to the summit (lots of rocks on the road in some places).

Vic, you would have been here too if not for the broken spoke and other foolishness. We came down from here to Crystal Lake for lunch, then over to Camp Williams and up Little GMR to Big GMR to Sierra Madre to the Park.

Took these on one of my weekend club rides.

The Davis Islands Yacht Club just off the southern tip of downtown Tampa.

More sail boats and some of downtown Tampa in the background.

Jet packing at the beach. Sorry about the grainy photo. iPhones don't take very good pictures at max zoom.

Biker395 - I really like your photographs, you have definitely ridden some scenic routes, and better yet taken the time to appreciate the view along the way! I'll have to look into the High Sierra Fall Century.

Wow. That's the most exotic photo that has shown up on this forum in a long time (heading over to Wikipedia to learn something about Malaysia).

From google earth:

Everyone in America, with the possible exception of those living in SoCal and Florida, are envious of you at the moment.
