Now, not really, even after rebooting phone, unpairing/repairing head unit, & uninstalling/reinstalling app as recommended by Wahoo support.

I have little other stuff running on the phone.

Suggestions?
Are you up to date on the phone OS? If not, do so.

I saw something from DCRainmaker that said that starting next month, there will be a 25% tariff on Chinese-made GPS units:

Apparently Wahoo is made in China. Garmin is made in Taiwan, so they won't be hit with this.

no improvement.

I just bought a Bolt and I'm finding that It cannot charge from a wall mount. It will only charge when plugged into a laptop. does anyone else have this issue?

nope.

Check your wall wart with another device or try another wall wart. If it charges off the laptop it will charger off the wall usb pwr source. All it could be is the wall wart. Unless the wall supply is too low of current. Try one that goes 5V 1A output.

First, make sure the wall charger is plugged in. If that doesn't help it is probably a problem with the micro-usb male plug. Sometimes these develop minor imperfections with repeated use with one particular device. This is why a different plug is usually the quick fix. Sadly likely the wall unit will no longer be able to charge your Bolt. I've had to replace some of my USB to micro cords for exactly the same reason. Sometimes these things just wear out.

all cables will break if mishandled, even when they are handled properly. I plugged my music streamer receiver into my kitchen system just a little bit ago only to find that one channel just didn't work. It worked just two days ago. I replaced the cable and all is good.

And taking a cue from all of the bike ANT+ and BT enabled devices that just seem to work together seamlessly, I figured audio should be just as easy. It isn't quite, but if you get the right devices running the right software it is.

Turns out the problem was the charger itself. It was an apple charger which I guess doesnt put out enough power. bought a $5 one from amazon and it works perfect

Huh. I use an Apple charger "wall wart" to charge my Bolt all the time. Never had a problem with it. Could be that yours has developed a fault of some kind.

After uninstalling/reinstalling at least 3 times, & much other fuss, it's working,

& even seems to keep the profile height , weight, etc.

If it works for a couple of years, the hassle will average out to not much per ride.

Hi there,
Just a quick query.
On the Garmin Edge 520 I have alerts set up every time I tick off 10 miles and another one if I go over my max heart rate. I get an alert on screen and also an audible tone as well.
Does the Bolt support the same features?
Thanks

You can set the LEDs along the top of the display to show heart rate zones. If you get up in to a higher zone they will change color. But I don't see anywhere to set an alert for a high heart rate or a higher zone. Same with distance. Bolt alerts seem to be limited to phone/email/texts, turn by turn, strava, and planned workouts. You might be able to set up a planned workout and have it send alerts, but I haven't played with that.
