The Beam Corky is a pretty cool design. you can fold them in if you don't feel like using them :-)

Aliexpress

yes it is one of those chinese products that seem to be sold everywhere. nevertheless the design is clever. you can get it even cheaper for next to nothing at aliexpress. if you can wait for 2-3 weeks of delivery time of course. thats at least how long it usually takes when they deliver to europe....

I've used something like "CycleAware Roadie Mirror" on a rental, it was decent, I fell once because I was paying too much attention on what's happening behind

My experience with mirrors is inconclusive. I found that larger mirrors that actually show what is happening behind you tend to be bulky and increase the overall length of the handlebars, which in turn increases the risk of hooking other vehicles in traffic. Some models can be installed above or below the handlebars rather than on the side - the folding-in / out however will destroy the flimsy chinesium plastic in weeks.

The smaller models (less than 5cm across) are totally useless and you’ll end up squinting in the thing way too long and decrease safety.

Saw a review on a different forum from an experienced cyclist who had tried a lot of models, settled on this.
