correction type errors in some sentences:
- when 9 speed became available upto '36' (because of introduction of 29" wheels) , indeed I just 'switched' the '34' for a '36'.
- all Shimano 8 speed cassettes and most 9 speed Shimano cassettes have separate sprockets,
- My recommendation (in your case) would be
- so you can't replace too many sprockets of your current 8 speed cassette so for index reasons.
