Aican brake pads

Has anyone ever used these brand brake pads, especially for an older Campy Chorus dual pivot caliper?

Not I, though I already had them bookmarked (same seller, two pair, just a skosh under $20) as a possibility for my Veloce Monoplaner calipers.

why not just use Kool Stop pads? No muss no fuss just slide out the old and n with the new. In the case of the Dual Pivots no fooling with adjusting the toe in Kool Stop International - High Performance Bicycle Brake Pads Since 1977

I think these are the correct ones for the dual pivot brakes.

These are fabulous in the Monoplanors

My Monoplaners are a real dog's breakfast at this point. They arrived with two different non-Campy holders/pads. They were also for recessed mounting, while my Serotta takes nutted brakes (apparently, Monoplaners were never available nutted). I swapped front and back to use the front as a nutted caliper on the back (Dura-Ace nut, I think). Then I swapped in a SunTour Superbe nutted front center bolt and bent the spring a bit to clear the wider spring carrier. As a result, I have a set of brakes Valentino would barely recognize.

I've used them on something, and they must have been OK, as I don't remember telling myself to not do that again.

I put off the decision by using a pair of Athena calipers with decent pads rather than the Chorus that matched the group set. Which is okay since I also changed out the brifters for Athenas.

Why I asked is 2 of the concave adjusters on the shoes are brittle and cracked in half. So much for the KoolStop pads I bought. So I need new shoes. Not paying for Campys at $40 a pair...

i also found they, the Koolstops weren’t seating quite right...they likely would’ve been fine but they were not nice and fitted.
