By all means, powder coat it as I can buy it at the lower value it will finish at.
Something is curious at the opening at the seat lug- inside and outside the tube.
inside looks as there is a hook of metal.

$250. not what you want to read, but complete bikes by him often do not attain high prices

Good eye on the seat tube...that was just some dust from the blast that I didn't get blown off. I can take more pics of that if you want. I would be ok with $250 for her. The outside of the seat tube is either a fine line of braze, or it was chrome right there. There are two lines like that on the seat stays a few inches down from the top, and I think that set a point where chrome was as well; however, his other frames I have seen did not have chrome, so not sure on that.

More pictures are always welcome. A shot of the frame in its entirety would be especially nice.

Those lines on the seatstays are where the stays insert into the forged "caps" with the "Behringer signature.'

That explains the act that it looks like all the other brazing! And i realized I didn't do a frame in it's entirety. I will do some different angles and post those shortly.

It appears to be a decent frame, but it would be good to know what tubing was used. I'm assuming it might be a mix of types. The overall workmanship seems to be excellent from what I can see. I'm thinking the price suggested above is in the ballpark.

Here are some angles and such, and 4 more pics coming in a moment. This is the first frame I have ever seen stripped down, so I don't know if the little braze lines always look that neat and uniform, but this is really cool to se for the first time! Makes me really wish this was my size!

Thanks for the feedback, and yep, that seems to be where she is at, which is fine with me. $250 means the frame isn't viewed as trash!

Dave, don’t you mean theTT bike is fillet brazed? That’s how the random funky angles can be fused when one-design lugs would be cost and time prohibitive.

Hey, I remember riding the Lakes Route with you when you rode the white bike. Circa 1981,82, 83’ish.

Looking at the seat lug, my guess is that the lug was formed with ears, they were cut/ground off and the binder bolt assembly brazed in place- unclear as to the why of the visible brass and possible void on one side.
the brass pits or bubbles on the NDS seat stay to seat lug is often a sign of overheated brass.
things gas out from the alloy.
not 100%, but when things are without paint everything is seen.

I had a frame repainted and the painter brought it by after blasting- Each and Every lug had voids- the original painter used painters putty or bondo and covered it all up!
