Bianchi Vento 606
Hi guys! A friend of mine owns this Bianchi Vento 606 from the 90s and he is considering selling me. He has modified it over the years, that's why it has different Campagnolo parts. Also moved the shifters to the downtube.
The bike rides well and feels nice. What do you think is a fair price or price range for it?
Thanks!

This is a tough one. Most of here in the States have no idea what an original Vento 606 even looks like, so we have no idea if this set up is an upgrade or not.
Nice looking bike and set up with the DT shifters.

Is that a cracked headset cup?
If so I would check the frame for collision damage.
Actually I would always check for collision damage

The line in the headset cup looks too perfect to be a crack; I'd guess it's a manufacturing seam.
The bike would be worth more broken up into it's parts. Based on the photos, and little things like the way he's finished off the bar tape, I'd say it's in really good condition.
It all depends on your local market. In Dublin that'd get 550-650euro if you're patient; 350-450euro if you want a quick sale.

Given a tretubi CrMo frameset, at least the Chorus would be upgrades. It would be pretentious of me to offer a value when I have no appreciation for the used bicycle market conditions in Spain.
