Post your AERO bikes!
Hello guys and gals,
I recently made the jump into an aero machine after many years of contemplating if it was worth it or not. I was a little skeptical about the hype yet always wanted an aero bike since I loved the aggressive look on these machines. Once I jumped into my current steed, the Venge ViAS, I turned into a believer that Aero trumps weight. My Venge ViAS is my favorite bike, the one I've liked the most from all the bikes I have ever owned.
I understand the geometry, ride quality and looks may not be something for everyone but for those looking to ride the fastest around, it is definitely an improvement over traditional bikes. My previous bikes include the following since 2012:
2012 Felt Z85 (sold)
2013 Specialized Roubaix Expert (still own)
2013 Giant TCR SL Rabobank Team Bike (Custom build: Dura Ace 9000, Enve 3.4SES) Own as frameset now.
2016 Giant TCR SL 2 (Custom Build: Shimano Dura Ace 9000, Enve 3.4SES) (sold)
2016 Specialized Tarmac (Campagnolo Super Record 11, Mavic Ksyrium Pro Carbon SL Tubulars) Still own.
The Venge has put me back on the road again and with a huge grin on my face. It's extremely fast, and the geometry fits me like a glove. Here is a pic that I've posted in other threads. Show me your AERO BIKE!

I'm not usually a fan of tan sidewalls outside of vintage rides, but that is a great look on the black bike.

I will say it does look 200x better than the pair of Venge Vias bikes I see around here ridden by local Freds who have huge stacks of "aero" spacers.Yours looks nice and low as the bike should be set up. Coming in anything lower than 3rd place in any race with that bike is completely unacceptable.

Looks great and +1 for the stem height appropriate for that type of bike.

Thank you for the compliments guys well appreciated. However, lets see some Aero Bikes! Seems like not a lot of people own them around here.

I decided to turn a fast TT bike into an AERO road bike.
UCI Mass start legal.
Getting 38 wide front bars and doing something different with the brake levers.
It should be fast. 29+ mph for 30 min (goal).

Love the tan sidewalls. So much so that I'm building my next bike similarly (decision made far in advance of seeing this thread).
Can't get past the look of the headtube and stem. Glad it's aero because otherwise it would just be fugly.
Wondering about the handlebar rotation. The picture angle may be playing tricks on me but the drops appear to be angled up slightly. Is that on purpose?

Collegiate TTs requires an USAC mass start bicycle and no disc wheels and certain number of spokes.
So for going real AERO figured I'd make the FELT TT bike mass start legal. It is/will be heavier than most aero road bikes, but I expect more aero.
Here it is in the TT kit from a couple years ago and the position (used on the Venge) that I hope to duplicate on the Felt - we will likely have bars closer/cockpit smaller than on the Venge.

Neat. Quick search turned up several examples of turning a Tri bike into a crit bike. Interested to see how it turns out and race report.

The race results will be more based on juniors ability to train with all that is going on with college and military 1st year. It is not the best for cycling. Still I think we are hoping for a 30+ mph ride.

OP - your new beast of the bike looks proper man! Local cycling friend just recently got the venge as well, but not VIAS model and with different 60mm aero wheels.
The BMC bike below looks awesome as well, but the cockpit on the venge just looks cleaner to my eyes.
