I'm Baaaccckkk!!!

After a few great years of cyclo-commuting, I went back on my car because of a lady co-worker friend who asked me to carpool with her. During that time, my main commuter bike got stolen! A bike that I built thanks to the many contributing members of this fine forum. While I did purchase another bike, I never got back to commuting via my bike. Something about HOV lanes, hot coffee, auto-climate control, blah blah blah. Ended being a recreational rider instead. Still fun but nothing beats riding with a purpose.

My recent job change in the summer now allows me to return to cyclo-commuting. I'm so happy! I missed the simple freedom of hopping on my bicycle with a sling bag and off I go. Having said that the distance is only 1km. Oh well.

I'll be around more hopefully!

"the distance is only 1km" A journey of a thousand miles begins with...oh, we're here.

I know. I do walk most of the time especially on rainy days.
But I find excuses to ride whenever I can. Taking a more meandering route with the bike vs. direct.
