FS: Stowe Built QR Project Frameset 50cm - 650c, Tange Prestige, Wishbone stays
Picked this up as a project for my wife's (vertically challenged) friend, but she ended up going with some carbon whoozawhatsit.
The frame is an early Quintana Roo, built by Stowe cycles (previously of Serotta) in upstate New York. Frame and fork are built with Tange Prestige tubing and feature some fantastic build details like thinned lugwork, an elegant wishbone seat stay and a sloping crown fork. The frame is straight and without dents, but the paint has seen better days, with plenty of chips, scrapes etc. and some light surface rust, so it would be a great candidate for a highbrow beater or full refinish.
The frame is very small and built for 650c wheels, measurements are:
50cm ctc top tube
47cm ctc seat tube
48.5 ctt seat tube
10cm headtube
Asking $100 shipped conus for the frame and fork, mostly to cover shipping, packaging materials etc. or $40 picked up locally in the Denver area. Please see pics for details and let me know if you have any questions. Cheers!

Do you know the seat tube angle? QR would be in the range of 78 or 80 degrees for triathlon.
Also, the smaller pics don't enlarge when I click, takes to a new page.

Here's an album with the pics if that makes it easier: https://photos.app.goo.gl/FkLCl1InYGDQam1z1
Unfortunately, I don't have any 650c wheels, or I could measure the STA. If anyone has a method to do that without wheels, I am all ears

If its a level top tube, you could measure the angle of the seat to top tube.
I just put the pic into paint and estimated 73.5 degrees.

I think you can put any in any size wheels as long as the radii are equal to measure frame angles. Or start from a 0 line as drawn from dropout to dropout.

Thanks, I do believe that it's closer to a normal road geometry rather than the aggressive TT angle. If I have time tomorrow, I'll see what I can figure out

Death fork? Naaaah!!
And I have a 650c wheelset hanging up in the barn, but I don't know any cyclists short enough.....
If only East Hill was still with us.

Mine is Columbus. He used both, but I think primarily Columbus in the road bikes. If I'm wrong, I'm sure others will correct me

Hey guys, the Sales forum is not the proper place to discuss bikes. It is only for the sales of bikes and bike parts, etc.
Please start a new thread in the regular Classic & Vintage forum.
Thank you.
