Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

about Scott's wonderfull range of road bikes. Oh sorry. That was the original Addiction thread. The current one: beetroot, bacon, the beverage of your choice, rapha clothing and the occasional off topic mention of bicycles and their use thereof.

Deep fried and dipped in ranch is my favourite. Not as healthy that way, though.

I don't eat beets either, and unless they're in a bowl, they infect everything else on the plate.

After a long fasted endurance ride, it's a must to flush the toilet, otherwise homicide will be called to investigate the crime scene. Bloks, Roctane, beet powder-all red food. Unsettling, to say the least.

If so, good luck with everything. You can always come back to Addiction and say hi. Even grumpy old PCAD has done that.
