Dropouts and tensioner

Is there a possible way to extend rear dropouts? And his anybody actually had their own tensioners welded to the inside of their drop. Outs

Not really a good way, other than removing the dropouts and replacing them if you have framebuilding skills, tools & materials.

Most tensioners you can use fine without welding them to the frame, in fact, they work by sliding.
