Cervelo C3 as all-rounder?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yeah it's amazing what I've been able to ride on 28s.

How do you feel the C3 and C5 compare?

Very little difference. The C5 is slightly lighter and maybe is a little stiffer but that could be my imagination to be honest. I really got it for the Di2. My C3 was Ultegra mechanical so I splurged knowing it willl be my mostly only bike.

Try reading my other post regarding stems and saddle position. Brilliant logic on sizing too. Next time I will consider getting a 70cm frame so I can ride it with a -17d stem.

size 61 would have fit you much better, +23mm stack with only +9mm reach, also bigger frame will be more compliant and increase comfort

You are still missing what I am trying to say. That pic was straight off the bike stand after I built the bike. Now have different stem, different post and cut the steer tube more.

Anybody else receive their shipments from Excel yet? The more I ride the C3 the more I like it.
