One must wonder how many thousands of dollars this individual spends each year on Shimano parts.
Why must one wonder this?

What i don't get, if this policy is supposed to be in support of the regional organizations, is why I'm finding it near difficult/impossible to find any US online retailers selling the Shimano groupset lineup?

You can still Buy Shimano at Merlin Cycles in the UK. They also happen to have the best prices on Shimano and Campy. I have three bikes with Dura Ace 9150 and one with Campy SR 12-spd, all purchased from them.

Bike-discount.de stated that 1 June 2019 was their deadline for taking orders on Shimano stuff, I wonder if Merlin Cycles will still be selling Shimano stuff after that date?

I looked at Merlin for my wishlist items. But the prices weren't as good as bikediscount and bike24 and selection was poor.

Anyway, I placed my order with bike24 and shipped this morning. Shimano can't stop it anymore :-)

I hate to make rush orders and much was planned to upgrade over next winter. But brakes are almost 50% more in the US.
I miss CRC since they have free shipping over $50.
