My Soma Steel hybrid build...
Well finally the bike I always wanted is here. I bought a used Jamis Coda Elite that I slowly built up with higher end parts over a few years, then once I had that all set, I searched for a frameset around $800 or less and settled on the Soma Double Cross Disc with their steel fork. I had originally wanted a Gunnar frame but it was too pricey. So I got it built yesterday, puttered around town a bit and will break her in for a 25 mile ride tomorrow. This will be my all around bike, pretty much for riding around the city recreationally, a little commuting, and maybe exploring some gravel. Cheers!

Was the frame of a Jamis Coda Elite not good enough to attach better parts to, as you have done with the Soma Double Cross?
