Centurion Semi-Pro back in the fold
This 1976 Semi-Pro has returned home after a lengthy time away. Thin Man posted about his wonderful restoration of this bike 5 or 6 years ago on this forum, and I was lucky enough to purchase it from him when he decided to sell it.
I rode it for 2 years, then sold it (with regrets) to pay some of my son’s college tuition. It seems to have changed hands a few times since, but doesn’t look like it was ridden much in the intervening years.
I found it for sale again and was happy to bring it back home. Recent changes include a VO crankset to allows for better climbing gears. New tires and straps coming soon. I won’t let it get away from me again!

I have a ‘75 broken down into parts in my shed - some day I’ll find the time to work on it.
Yours appears to be in much nicer condition. Congrats on the (re) acquisition.

Very nice. I just started to build up an early 70s Fuji Finest. Your semi pro looks great and I like the gearing on it as well.

It is probably my most eye catching bike. I drooled over these in my local bike shop as a high school kid. Very happy to have this one back!

There is a 56 cm version of this bike (mine’s a 54) currently on the Bend, Oregon CL mistakenly advertised as a 1980’s bike, if anyone is looking for one like this...

Very nice, that crankset ought to help with the undulations on your Island. Are matching tires on the list? sorry OCD is kicking in

Black chain rings.
Then tidy up that great gob of black electrical tape on the bar wrap, get tires, black toe straps and you're done, I think.

I love these bikes. There is a Professional for sale on Bay now that looks like it will clean up nicely. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Lug...53.m1438.l2649. The Pro was made by Acer Mex(Windsor) . The Semi Pro I believe was made in Japan. They are both somewhat rare and very nice bikes. Joe
