Guys, wife and I want to head west country way (Devon, Cornwall) for a few days next week. We'll take the bikes. Any ideas for good riding territory down that way? Places and/or areas to stay. Riding is the main focus, so we'd like to stay put in one place, and drive around as the secondary interest.

I really love the Lizard. There are some lovely small fishing villages at the bottom, and the best ice cream (Roskilleys).
The roads are very narrow and steep, but not too busy.

Might be worth looking at Lynton/Lynmouth - I spent my honeymoon there and judging from the walking the biking should be very good.

Hi Bokkie,

Me and a few mates went down to Salcombe in Devon and had a blast...plenty of climbing and great descents

Have a great time
