"reverse" brake/shifter
For those who have their brakes routed so that their left hand engages the
rear brake AND run a multi-gear bike that has STI levers:
Is your shifting reversed too?
To those who drive on the left side of the road: I'm beginning to
see some advantages.

No just the brake cable routing is switched up but the shifting is the same.

Nope. Right side controls front brake and rear shifter.
I've done this with barcons, downtube shifters, thumbshifters, and campy ergo.

Hmm...yeah that makes sense since the you probably just route the brake cable reverse while leaving the others the same. Gears are cool.

Shifters normal, no reason to change that and it'd be pretty damn pricey. All my bikes are rigged "moto" with the front brake on the right. Makes sense from every standpoint except some ancient and fairly silly rules related to using hand signals in traffic. The idea was that with your left hand off the bar to signal a turn you might need to slow down and would skid down or go over the bars using just the front brake. British bikes "reverse" the levers for the same reason.
