Man I want to go.
Anyone know if I can park my car somewhere around there? I will be driving from 45 minutes north of baltimore (Bel Air). (Id bike there but Id be dead by the time I got there)
Edit: also anyone the know how long it might go until? I am looking into taking the train since it starts right near Penn station. They have a train coming in at 9:21 am & 4:39 pm, heading back home at 7:04 pm and 9:12 pm. I am coming from the Aberdeen train station.

There is street parking all around the Shop Gentei. If you are on the main streets you may have to pay to park, but if you look on the side streets you should be fine.

Ha! Now that I'm living in Philly, I can race in Bmore as an out-of-towner! New experiences are fun.

if you drive, there's parking right across the street from the tattoo shop where i work. 882 park ave, which is literally around the corner from gentei.
if you take the train, it will prob take less than 2 minutes by bike to get to gentei.
it will probably go til about 12am or so at sonar... there's some indoor contests and whatnot. and booze.

i live a couple blocks away and there is plenty of parking on the streets around there, and mt. vernon is a pretty safe area, as baltimore goes. on saturday there is very little regulated parking in the heart of the city, just pay attention to the signs and you'll be fine.

Thanks for the parking suggestions, I guess I should be able to find something.
Whats this about?:
noob alert, but this is my first alleycat race. I don't want to be in for too many surprises, lol.

Don’t be surprised if you’ve got to do a little something-something at each checkpoint to get your manifest checked off.

Your first Alleycat will send you off meandering around East Baltimore and Druid Hill? You ever watch the Wire?
hahaha.
To answer your question, you may have to do a task at each checkpoint. The last race Gentei threw had you running up stairs, taking shots of Harbor water [bmore shot of nastiness], ect...

I'll try to make it up for Sonar, but I have no where near the stamina needed to race around Baltimore.
