Does anyone have a source for handlbar tape in the vintage 80s shade of celeste? In the 80s celeste was more olive than it it apparently is now. I ordered in some Cinelli celeste tape and it's far too bright and bluish-green to match. Alternatively, any thoughts on how I might be able to darken/dull the Cinelli tape so its at least closer in hue? Thanks for any advice you can offer.

A couple of coats of clear shellac will darken the hue.

There are a lot of celeste bar tapes out there and many look different to my eyes. Surely one will be the shade you're looking for. Fizik, Deda, Torelli, Lizard Skin, Serfas, et al. But yeah, you can tailor the Newbaum's celeste cloth to the shade you're after too.
