You are not on the current list (I don't automatically add you back to the list), so no worries. Just let us know when you are ready to get back in. Good luck with the move! Visited Santa Fe on my road trip to the Grand Canyon this summer. Seemed like a lovely place.

I notice the box makes approximately two stops per week.

There are currently six on the list. I would say it makes one to two stops a week, it speeds up and slows down. So I would guess three to five weeks. If you would like in, please read the rules in the first post to make sure you can live within the rules. Thanks!

One isn't "intererested" in the BOC game. One dives in without thinking. I believe my post to get in went something like this: "This sounds like the dumbest game I've ever heard of. I want in!" @Drillium Dude was kind enough to open the gate and let me in.

And then you went on to greatness as Crapmaster extraordinaire! See, just take a chance and you might achieve greatness like gugie!

Yeah, then I closed that gate from the outside and locked you inside for the next 2-3 years! Sorry about that

With posts from three former Crapmasters @gugie @Drillium Dude @nlerner it gets me thinking. I think it is time to start my succession planning. In March I will have been the Crapmaster for two years which I think is a prudent amount of time to be in charge of this merry bunch and you all will probably start getting tired of me and would like to go out on top. So if anyone has an interest and would like to run for the highly coveted position as the Supreme Master of Crap, please feel free to reach out and we can discuss the ins and outs and maybe come up with a succession timeline if there is interest. Just throwing it out there. Not in a rush, but would be happy to turn over the reigns! Thanks!

Any way to add a new/second box into the mix? Looking to move a bunch of odds n ends. Not interested in being on a ‘list’.

More than once, I've seen someone post a "grab box" up for sale in the for sale section. Flat rate shipping, price you can live with, jumble of different items with some degree of surprise built in -- they're typically sold the same day...

That comes up from time to time, but it's complicated enough just to keep the one box matriculating downfield.

If you're really wanting to contribute, find someone on the list "downstream" and send them your box. Let them decide what parts stay and what parts go. I'd find out someone who has a co-op in their area that they can donate unused parts to.

And a great Crapmaster you have been! We don't have a hard two year rule term limit, but that seems to be about the right amount of time to put in.

Folks, the massive power that you wield in this office is well worth the small amount of effort required to keeping track of a heavy box of turkey levers, dork discs, and the occassional nugget as it travels around the country.

That, and you own the rules. If you're somehow feeling lack of control in your life and need an outlet, contact crandress and put your hat in the ring.

FWIW and to correct the record, I have never been the CrapMaster, and if elected, I shall not serve.

hmmmm, I stand corrected. I used what was passed along to me which said: "@nlerner - box o crap pass-around game, started 12-1-2010". I will have to strike that from the record.

Also think there might be a one term limit anyway, but I might bend the rules if any past CrapMasters wanted to come forward.

Yeah, there was a previous BOC debacle with a forum member who shall not be named. I volunteered to start the rotation again with a fresh box.
