Brompton Schwalbe One
I was in my lbs PortaPedal in Tempe AZ and saw the Brompton Schwalbe One tan sidewalls. Beautifull looking tire and has the appearance of being larger than they are. I need to replace the Kojacks on my Brompton soon and was going to purchase Primo Comets but am now thinking about the Schwalbe One. My bike is Desert Sand color and the tan sidewalls would look super. At $80.00 for one tire it seems like a lot for 349mm size tires. Anyone who has experience riding these tires please give us a short review of your time on them and if it's worth the money.

I don't have experience with those tires, but I'm ENVIOUS that you can call PortaPedal your LBS.
I've purchased a few items from them and theyve been very pleasant to deal with.
I live in So-Cal and if/when my Brompton needs deal work (seat sleeve, hinges pins, etc) I'll make an appointment and head out that way
and have them do the services.
Post a pict if/when you outfit with these tires please.

They look really great, but 80 bucks each, wow. Maybe if you don't ride a lot of miles.

I doubt that $80 is the MSRP for those tires, you can look at SJSCycles' prices for comparison...$58.70 USD Ex VAT, and yes, they are making money at that lower price point.

What is the width?
I had Schwalbe One tires (narrow 451 size) on my Bike Friday. They seemed to roll very nice, but I thought the wear was much quicker than I expected.
