Cool beans. One of my neighbors was selling one of these a few years ago, in very clean shape, fifty bucks, IIRC.

I was tempted, because it was so cute and curious, but even with the saddle and bars up all the way it was way too small for me to actually ride ☠️😕

Very fine job; thank you so much for sharing it!

Great to see it all completed and operational.

For any readers who may have missed it the earlier discussion thread on this cycle resides here -

Wow! I have had one of these Sears Tote Bikes tucked away, on display in my garden for a couple of decades now. I never, for a single moment, considered building it up. Until I saw this and one other recent thread on the bicycles. Anyway, way too many projects to take on another. Guess that my mid sixties Sears Tote Bike will remain guarded, in the garden, day and knight...

Thanks for posting your example Randy.

The "mag" pattern chainwheel shows it to be relatively late, IIRC.

Reportedly, they were produced by both Murray and Huffman; do not know which chainwheel goes with which maker.

You did a great job bringing it back! Sad if these mini velo only saw Canadian roads. I would like to get ahold of one.

You did such a fine job with it in both the work and the documentation.

Would like to suggest it would be an excellent addition to the "before and after" thread.

Do you think a light sanding and a clear coat would help? It's a cool bike regardless.

Just so you know, I don't either; I've just been hanging around here too much.

Pls, no sanding. Use a good paint polish. It does wonders to get off the grime and rough surface layer.
