I was talking with my cousin in law today and I remembered that I'd bought a pretty nice GPU (5700XT) around Thanksgiving and then promptly forgotten about it with the holiday travel and family health stuff. So yeah, I should totally get my gaming on... but now I'll have to take care of the kids. Maybe I'll find some old Saturday morning cartoons and pop 'em in front of the TV for hours at a time.

Does that mean that they want to continue with the full group rides or that they want to suspend them altogether?
I'm perfectly content to continue to ride with my small group. Everybody knows to excuse themselves if symptomatic, they've been even more courteous w/r/t spitting and snot rockets and it's not like we're in heavy sweating weather. Another MN guy in another thread mentioned getting sweat on him from the person ahead of him in a paceline... like, it was like 30° that day - I rode and a) I didn't sweat that much b) I have a hard time believing any of my sweat escaped from my face, which was my only exposed skin.

I think cycling is "essential" but look at it from the non-cyclist perspective. If a non-cyclist sees a big group of local riders riding around, it does not look good.
Plus, if the guy on the front sneezes, EVERYONE in the group is going to be exposed to his/her pathogens. Not that we will all get sick, but under current circumstances I think we should put the brakes on larger organized group rides.
My suggestion is to have small informal rides, with say 2-5 riders, enough so you can have the safety and advantage of group dynamic, but small enough to minimize risk.
Stay tuned, I suspect they will come to the right conclusion soon.

Sounds reasonable and, yeah, managing perception wouldn't be a bad thing.

I'm pretty sure they don't staff the gates around here until the spring anyway. For sure, they don't start charging entrance fees until Memorial Day weekend.

Governor has “requested” bars, clubs, and wineries to close, and restaurants to go to half capacity. And for folks >65 yr old to isolate themselves at home.
Its pretty clear if his request is not met, it will become something that’s enforced.
This disease is the real deal. Not fear mongering.

Today:
Farmers market. We shall survive at least a week on 8 pounds of oranges, 10 pink lady apples, 3 half pints raspberries, a bunch of broccoli, two heads of romaine, and a container of Kalamata olive hummus.
Nosework with the dogs. Puppy Love is so smooth, methodical and thorough in her searches. Baby Ash however is so food motivated that she borders on hysterical. The idea is that the dogs search for a hidden target odor. Puppy Love has at it, works until she finds the target, puts her nose right on it, gets her reward. Baby Ash scurries into the work area, catches a whiff of odor, stops searching, and looks at me. “I smell the thing somewhere, GIVE ME CHICKEN!”. Lol it’s so funny. Sorry honey that’s not how it works.
Paperwork on the boat closing. Some crazy $hit went down and I’ll tell y’all the story once we actually close. I don’t want to jinx things. We are supposed to close next Friday.
Bike ride. Dreary day. Didn’t feel like heading out but gave it a whirl. 45 minutes at 100%, scattered where doable in a 95 min ride. Glad I got out.
I tried to go to the grocery store today. I don’t have patience for that nonesense. But: raspberries.

On today's ride, it occurred to me that I have yet to transfer my tool roll/flat kit and pump to the new bike. The thrill of livin' dangerously!
Anyway, I looked at my pump, a Lezyne Road Drive or something, and it's farked. The hose screws in to the body of the pump for storage, and some moisture worked in and it's all corroded and gross. So what's the current go-to mini-pump? I want to store it on the bike (lighter is better), would prefer something with a hose (so that I don't rip off a valve inadvertently) and I only need to get up to 70 psi or so. Any recommendations?

I understand it's the real deal, and believe me, I'm not minimizing this by any stretch. I get CDPHE emails about every 20 minutes, with updates and results. I'm just concerned about the odd picking and choosing. We shut down all sporting events here, including all the state championships, yet held a Post Malone concert two nights later. We all know what a request from the government means, simply because the all about me bunch, will poo poo that line of thinking. Seriously, the selective enforcement is just mind boggling to me.
I got a text from our hospital administrator a little bit ago. Emergency meeting tomorrow as to how to modify procedures at work to minimize risk to staff yet still meet our referring veterinarian’s and our patient’s needs.
My guess is we’re going to go onto some kind of urgent-cases only skeleton crew mode and there’s at least a 50% chance we get shut down entirely.
Crazy stuff going down right now.

Hmmmm. I'm a little concerned about the number of pump strokes that it would take to get 28s up to 60-70 PSI... but at the same time it's super small and not something that I anticipate using very often (tubeless! ). I'll shortlist it, thanks!

I am looking at the global COVID19 data. I know "people are saying" that the China data is suspect or fake, but going by what's reported, the incidence in China, as a percentage of total population, is really pretty small compared to Italy, South Korea, Spain, or Iran.

Of course, you could just use C02. People are saying it's better to seat your tubeless tire too.
