Ranondee xr-long rear cable?
I’ve got a 2012 novara randondee with bar end shifters, the housings are the same size as the original and I might be able to shorten them by up to two inches but I need at least five extra inches to a generic rear derailleur cable. Does this sound right for this model bike to need an extra long cable?

On my rather large 2009 Randonee with brifters, the standard cable fits with an inch or two to spare. With bar-ends, I'd need a tandem cable.
I've not had much luck finding tandem cables locally, but most mail order places have them.
