Extreme distances are fine in and of themselves but when the promoter runs bikes off a cliff or through man made obstacles intended to break your bike then I've no interest.
What is the DAMn course like? I've been to the arrowhead. Walked on a frozen waterfall and drove around a bit. Gorgeous country. Wind coming off the lake is the real thing.

From the 2017 riders, I understand DAMn is fairly tame routing (no cliffs). Trenton is the DAMn organizer, he also organizes the Filthy 50, that course is straight forward gravel racing, so based on this I don't expect any crazy stuff.

Sounds like a fun time. Good luck and keep the rubber side down!
