Shimano TT bar end Shifters on 11 speed cassette and xt rear mech

Did anyone try Shimano 11 speed TT bar end shifters with XT rear mech and XT 11 speed mech? are they compatible?
Want to build gravel/touring bike with drop bar and don't want to put mtb xt shifter on the drop bar.

Haven’t done it, but looked into it for shimano 10 speed, which is roughly the same story. Essentially: Shimano 11 speed road and mountain rear derailers have different pull ratios, it won’t work to use 11 speed shimano TT bar ends (Which are “road” pull ratio) with an XT (mountain pull ratio) rear derailer.

However, two possible workarounds you might look into:
1. Wolf tooth makes a device called the “tanpan” which is basically a ratio altering pulley...one version allows 11 speed shimano shifters to work with 11 speed mountain derailers...a lot of people want to do this sort of thing it turns out.
2. If you haven’t purchased the shifters yet, microshift makes a bar end shifter specific to shimano mountain rear derailers...can be run index or friction on the rear. I believe you’d want the model bs-m11.

Thank you for responding. I have not buy them yet, but wanted to buy cheaper on ebay used one. I am not ready to pay for new microShift shifter such a money, but wth tanpan and used shifters it is close to same price. (((
